Sample Interval: the number of minutes between each reading taken by sensors connected to a data logger. The sample interval can’t be greater than the log interval.
Log Interval: the number of minutes between each logging of readings. If the log interval is equal to the sample interval, there will be one reading logged. If the sample interval is less than the log interval, the readings collected will be averaged, and the average will be logged.
Transmission Interval: Controlled by the Interrogation Schedule in iChart. This interval controls how often data is transmitted via cellular, radio or satellite telemetry. The default is every 60 minutes.
