NexSens iChart software is used to control iSIC data loggers and all connected devices. The software also includes many features, such as device disabling. This feature can be used to save power or to disconnect power while waiting for service.
1. Open iChart with a current project.
2. In the navigation panel on the left, find the icon representing the device to be disabled.
Note: If a folder is disabled then all of the contents within will be disabled too.
3. Right Click on the Device and select Disable.

4. A dialog box will pop up, asking about adding notes to the database. This is an optional step used to detail when and why disabling occurred. Click Yes to add a note or click No to complete the process.
