The NexSens 5500-iSIC supports Wi-Fi connection between a remote monitoring site and a computer base station with an internet connection. It is the most desirable system for a monitoring site where a near by Wi-Fi connection is available at the remote site.

The above system consists of the following components:
1. Windows based computer running iChart Software
2. 5500-iSIC Wi-Fi Data logger
3. Sensor
4. Wireless router
iChart software communicates with the 5500-iSIC through Wi-Fi connection. The PC running iChart connects to the wireless router either via Local Area Network (LAN) as shown above or the Internet.
