Transfer iChart to a New Computer


To move all iChart files and settings from one PC to another:

  1. Identify the location of the software on the existing iChart computer.
    1. Generally it will be in one of the following directories.
      1. “C:\Program Files\NexSens” for Windows XP machines
      2. “C:\Program Files (x86)\NexSens” for Windows Vista and newer machines
      3. “C:\Users\Public\NexSens” as the recommended directory for new iChart installations
  2. Right-click the NexSens folder and click Copy.
  3. Paste the NexSens folder onto a USB drive.
  4. Connect the USB drive to the new computer.
  5. Navigate to the same file directory (as determined in step 1) on the new PC.
  6. Copy the NexSens folder from the USB drive and Paste it onto the new computer.

After launching iChart for the first time from the new PC, it will need to be registered again. Contact NexSens Technology and supply a technician with the 16-digit serial number (94E1-B8AE-xxxx-xxxx) to request a new registration key.
