X3 Logger Buzzer Pattern Indicator
X3 data loggers include an internal buzzer indicator to provide audible system status feedback to the user. The table below outlines the pattern for each process:
Event | Beep Type | Status |
Applying power/logger reset | One short beep | System boot successful |
Sensor detection/measurement1 | One short beep every 3 seconds | Logger currently taking a measurement or detecting sensors |
Telemetry connection attempt | Double beep every 3 seconds (Cellular) Triple beep every 3 seconds (Iridium) | Logger attempting to establish a connection with the telemetry service |
Telemetry connection successful2 | Two short beeps | The logger has successfully established a telemetry connection |
Telemetry connection failed | Three short beeps | The logger has unsuccessfully established a telemetry connection. Move to an area with better reception and no overhead obstructions. |
1WQData LIVE integration is automatically performed on telemetry units after the sensor detection is complete.
2After the connection is successful, the logger will revert back to the double or triple beep pattern while it is uploading data or responding to remote commands from WQData LIVE.
