‘Unexpected File Format’ Error
An ‘unexpected file format’ error in iChart indicates that the project (.icr) file attempting to be opened has an incompatibility with the current version of the software:
- The .icr file was created with a newer version of iChart than the version of the software trying to open it (most common).
- The properties of the .icr file utilize a feature that is no longer supported with the newest versions of iChart.
Unexpected file format error.
