NexSens weatherPACK PC-Based Weather Stations

The NexSens weatherPACK weather monitoring system is a highly accurate PC-based automatic weather station. The system includes everything required to begin logging weather data directly to a Windows-based computer. weatherPACK is comprised of a Vaisala WXT520 multi-parameter weather sensor, pre-wired 100 foot sensor cable, AC power supply, and NexSens weatherVIC Software. Simply mount the WXT520 sensor outside, connect the cable to a PC and wall outlet, install weatherVIC Software, and begin logging weather data - its that simple!

The Vaisala WXT520 multi-parameter weather transmitter is a compact and lightweight multi-sensor instrument that measures the most essential weather parameters. The system simultaneously measures wind speed & direction, liquid precipitation, barometric pressure, temperature, and relative humidity - all in a compact sensor housing with no moving parts. All measurements are based on proven Vaisala technology, such as the WINDCAP sensor for wind speed and direction, the modern RAINCAP sensor for rainfall and rain intensity, and a single module for barometric pressure, temperature, and humidity.

NexSens weatherVIC software is a powerful data collection and analysis tool for the Vaisala WXT520 weather sensor, turning any computer into a real-time weather station and data logger. A user-friendly graphical interface eliminates the complicated programming common with other data logging systems and weather sensors. There are three view panels that offer various graphical representations of real-time data, such as a wind dial, traditional mercury thermometer, and weather report with animated rainfall. Historical weather reports with statistics, plots and data tables are quickly generated with the built-in report generator. Data can be exported to PDF or Microsoft Excel with just one mouse click.
