For bottom-deployed applications, the SDL500 is submersible to 200 ft depths.

The SDL500 is designed with impact-resistant PVC, two elastomer bumpers, shock-mounted electronics, and redundant seals.

It can withstand extreme wave action, drops, floods, and periodic and long-term deployment underwater.

Extended battery life


The SDL500 operates for months on eight D-cell alkaline batteries.

For continuous deployments, an optional 5-watt solar power pack or external power cable is available.

The SDL500 data logger is configured with five sensor ports to interface with:

Buoy integration


NexSens data buoys have been designed to incorporate the SDL500 submersible data logger.

The MB-100 data buoy works well for portable or short-term deployments, while the MB-300 and MB-400 are ideal for long-term monitoring stations.
