SDL500 Submersible Data Logger
Durability Features
Underwater Connections
Each sensor port offers a UW receptacle with double O-ring seal for a reliable waterproof connection. Gland and face seals on UW connectors provide a unique connection between sensorBUS cabling and sensors. There are a wide variety of common sensor connector cables available, and user-supplied cable assemblies can be connectorized and tested at the factory for SDL integration.
Robust Hardware
The SDL withstands extreme wave action, drops, floods, and long-term deployment underwater. Its housing is constructed of impact-resistant PVC and includes two elastomer bumpers for long-term deployment.
Field Hardened Electronics
Internal circuit boards and communication modules are shock mounted. Additionally, a polymer conformal coating on the circuit boards protects them from moisture and dust.
Fully Submersible
The NexSens Submersible Data Logger wouldn’t have earned its name if it weren’t capable of complete immersion. The SDL’s housing is completely watertight, including all cable connections. When fitted for wireless remote communication, the antennas are also waterproof.
