iSIC Environmental Data Logger
Durability Features
Robust Hardware

Housed in a rugged, NEMA 4X enclosure that is constructed of heavy-duty fiberglass, the iSIC’s electronics are protected from dirt, dust, water, and ice formation. Inside this tough exterior, stainless steel electronics mounting hardware provides corrosion resistance.

A polymer conformal coating on the iSIC’s circuit boards protects them from moisture and dust. The iSIC is also equipped with built-in lightning protection and a Gore-Tex vent for internal pressure stabilization.
Weatherproof Sensor Connection

All sensor cables run through Sealcon gland fittings to ensure protection from the elements. Additionally, MS-8 (Military Spec) connectors are used for power and sensor interface, offering a sealed connection.

The built-in 8.5 amp-hour lead-acid battery uses absorbed glass mats (AGM) between its plates. This construction offers numerous advantages over both gelled and wet (flooded) batteries. Since all the acid is contained in these glass mats, it cannot leak out even if broken. Additionally, since there is no liquid, they are completely resistant from freezing damage.
Stainless Steel Enclosure

An optional corrosion-resistant stainless steel enclosure provides even greater protection from the elements and vandalism. It features a unique custom-built triangle lock for added security. Every enclosure is manufactured to include six pre-drilled entry ports for feed-thru or ½” conduit fittings, a pre-drilled iSIC data logger mounting plate, two terminal strips, and a triangle key.
