Easy Backup

Regular backup of data to a source different from the computer running iChart is crucial to ensuring the safety of your data. Backing up the the entire database is extremely simple in iChart, which can perform automated backups or provide regular backup reminders.

Web Server Redundancy

With the addition of a NexSens WQData Web datacenter package, all iChart data can also be backed up to a secure off-site server facility. NexSens maintains state-of-the-art servers for secure hosting of WQData accounts. All historical data from a project is stored on these servers.

Protected Project File

An iChart project file may need to be shared among other users on other computers so they can generate iChart reports and view project data through iChart. In these cases, the project file can be locked so only the computer that created the project can make significant changes, such as adding or removing devices, interrogating data loggers, or changing sensor settings.
